Field Rose (Rosa arvensis)

Scrambling shrub to 3 metres, usually with weak trailing green stems, prickles sparse, hooked. Flowers always white, 30 to 50 mm solitary or 2 to 3 together. Sepals deflexed soon falling. Styles joined into a long column. Hip oval, red, smooth.Nature Spot
